路 Note: The higher the grade in the high school diploma, the greater the chances of being accepted into better universities.
8. Can students from the literary track (Arts stream) study scientific majors?
Yes, it is possible in some universities and according to the percentages they specify, except for medical majors which you cannot apply for.
9. Can I get a scholarship without a Chinese language certificate (HSK)?
Most universities require an HSK Level 4 certificate and above. In rare cases, some universities offer partial scholarships to outstanding students with a secondary school average of 80% or higher.
10. Is an IELTS certificate alone sufficient to get a scholarship for a Bachelor's degree?
Often it is not sufficient, as proficiency in Chinese (HSK) is the most important and strongest factor for obtaining a scholarship.
11. What score is required in the HSK Chinese proficiency exam?
Most universities require 210 out of 300, and some universities require 180 and above. The higher the score, the greater your chance of receiving the scholarship.

Payment in China is made in the local currency (Chinese Yuan CNY). You exchange dollars for yuan at the bank upon arrival. Most universities accept electronic payment via Alipay or WeChat Pay apps.
35. Do I have to pay the full fees from the beginning of the application?
No, the fees are divided:
路 A part is paid at the beginning of the application to cover university system fees and admission procedures.
路 The remaining balance is paid after arriving at the university and before starting studies.
